EBBETS FIELD FLANNELS presents another quality constructed piece of America's baseball history. The Marianao Tigres were origianll called the Monjes Grises (Gray Monks). In 1948 the franchise, representingt Havana suburb of Marianao, changed their name to Tigres.  Their line up included both Native Cuban and American greats, Conrado Marrero, Minnie Minoso, Adolfo Luque, Don Newcombe and Jim Bunning.
